A New Year of Possibilities and SharePoint Conferences
Wow, can you believe it’s 2014? Another year has come and gone, and, in the SharePoint world, it was a big year and, from the looks of it, we have a lot to look forward to in the new year!
2013 Brought Many Improvements
It seems like just yesterday we were gearing up for the release of SharePoint 2013 and all the improvements to our favorite tool! With improved Branding and Business Connectivity Services among other things, we were excited to upgrade our customers.
Here’s a great Technet recap of all the improvements to SharePoint.
And, I would be remiss if I didn’t spend a few words bragging about the improvements we’ve made at Fpweb.net as well in 2013. While challenging at times, our team of engineers finished our monitoring initiative, moving us from more limited monitoring capabilities to a more robust and user friendly tool.
Check out the details on what is available for customer consumption: Advanced Monitoring and Alerts.
We also successfully upgraded our ticketing system and made additional details about customer accounts available via the secure online portal. Near and dear to my heart was the integration of our Customer Care Team and our Relationship Managers into one: The Customer Success Team. Our only focus? Our Customers’ success, of course!
So, What’s New in 2014?
Well, if you haven’t already heard, Microsoft’s SharePoint Conference 2014 is just around the corner on March 3rd through 6th at the Venetian in Las Vegas, Nevada. As you’d expect, we’re all getting psyched to attend and not only exhibit and help sponsor the event, but also to meet with other SharePoint crazy folks like us.
There’s something for everyone at SPC14.
Whether you’re an IT professional, developer, or CIO, there are valuable activities suited to your needs throughout the four-day conference. Specific tracks have been laid out to meet the needs of any audience. From an Executive track that features Navigating the Benefits and Challenges of the Cloud and a Leadership Roundtable to a Developer track with sessions such as 10 Steps to a Happier Cloud App Migration and SharePoint Web Templates for On-Premise and the Cloud. Check out the full SPC14 Sessions Track list here.
If you haven’t considered attending, you really should start! This is an opportunity of a lifetime – where else can you have access to SharePoint experts, developers and executives, all in one place? Not to mention the value of meeting and adding partners like Fpweb.net!
Come Meet the Fpweb.net Team
We’ll have our experts, our business development members and our executives in attendance so give us the opportunity to show you why SharePoint hosted by Fpweb.net is the way to go!
We can help ease your cloud concerns, provide you with the data and details to convince your boss to go hosted or just demonstrate our commitment to customer service by introducing you to the leader of our recently assembled Customer Success team. (I hear she’s great. And super nice. And humble. Hmmm, that is a great segue into…)
I want to meet you!
To all of my customers, current and future: We live in a fast-paced world full of email, Windows meetings and Lync conversations, so you can imagine how thrilled I am at the possibility of sitting down, face-to-face with my customers and having a chat.
Let’s make it happen at SPC14.
Call me, text me, email me or send up a flare, and we’ll get together over coffee. You can reach me at 636-600-8959 or email me at email@example.com. I can’t wait to meet you!
Happy 2014! Here’s to your continued SharePoint success!
